Whether you’re looking for bridal shoes or a glamorous pair of heels to elevate an evening look, Jimmy Choo look alike shoes are the perfect shoes for that.
Jimmy Choo’s shoe designs are generally rather classic, however the most well known shoes from the brand are full of glitz and glamour that have been adorned by many celebrities ever since their inception.
Jimmy Choo has also been seen on the feet of Carrie Bradshaw, the self-confessed shoe-aholic from Sex And The City, and the brand also claims that it used to be the favourite shoe brand of princess Diana – quite a bold statement, but there must be at least some truth to it!
The Jimmy Choo dupes that I’ve picked out for this article represent some of their most famous designs, including dupes for the beautiful Bing mules that have been making waves on social media.
So, without further ado, let’s get into the dupes!

Now that we have the best Jimmy Choo dupes covered, I wanted to dive a little deeper into the brand. I found out quite a few interesting details whilst researching this article, which you might find interesting too.
Who Owns Jimmy Choo?
Surprisingly, even though Jimmy Choo is a luxury retailer, it’s owned by Michael Kors Ltd, which is considered to be a premium high street retailer as opposed to a true luxury house.
Michael Kors bought Jimmy Choo for $1.2 billion in early 2017, and experts hope that this will work to push up the value of not only the Michael Kors label, but also serve to elevate Jimmy Choo to a multi billion dollar company.
However, the road of Jimmy Choo has been quite rocky since the start of the 2000’s. The founder of the company, Jimmy Choo, actually left the firm already in 2001 and sold his 50% share of the company after a string of private equity owners took charge of the firm. The brand’s co-founder, Tamara Mellon also sold her stake at the company later on in 2011, when JAB Luxury Holdings acquired the company for a hefty lump sum of $660 million.
The last 4 years have been particularly rocky for Jimmy Choo: JAB Luxury decided to sell the majority of the company only a year later to focus on other acquisitions the firm had made on its food and consumer goods side, mainly the delicious doughnut chain Krispy Kreme. Eventually, it landed in the hands of Michael Kors.
It’s yet to be seen if this partnership will prove as profitable as people had hoped it would be – both Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo seem to be struggling to keep up their businesses: Michael Kors reported that it was be closing down 100-125 stores in March 2017, and Jimmy Choo’s revenue has kept declining at nearly 20% per year. Times are tough for retail!
Who Is The Creative Director of Jimmy Choo?
Sandra Choi, who is the niece of Jimmy Choo, has been the brand’s sole creative director since 2013. She joined the firm already in 1989 and spent her entire career learning to perfect the craft of shoe making from her uncle, before taking over the company’s visionary role.
According to her, she was ready to take change people’s perception of the brand as being just another sexy shoe brand, and giving it more substance and other lines.
It’s thanks to her that Jimmy Choo has a ready-t0-wear collection, perfumes and handbags, which is definitely a fresh addition to any shoe brand’s collection.
