By now, I’m sure that most of you have caught a glimpse of the newest it-accessory on the internet: the Celine Alphabet necklace. (If you haven’t, are you even on Instagram?! Everyone and their mom is wearing it!) Ever since it debuted this spring, it’s been an instant hit: not only has it sold out multiple times, every well known fashionista owns one.
In fact, it’s become so popular that I think it may even become the next Gucci belt: the price is very high for a trendy piece of jewellery, but in terms of luxury fashion, it’s actually quite affordable: the small version of the necklace will set you back by about $199, and the large one about $325.
As the prices of this luxury item are relatively affordable, anyone who really wanted to buy the original could go out and buy it, unless it’s sold out of course. However, I have good news for those of you who aren’t too bothered about getting the real thing – I’ve found great dupes for the necklace for as little as $6.95 – yes, you read that right! (Here in the UK, the necklace is sold for a little cheaper than in the US.)
I actually purchased the M-necklace this past week and I am amazed by the quality – it looks incredibly similar and it’s surprisingly heavy. I cannot tell what metal they’ve used to make this necklace but as I mentioned before, it looks very similar to the original and looks way more expensive than what I paid for it.
If you’re feeling a little hesitant about jumping on the Celine Alphabet necklace trend and blowing $300 on a piece of jewellery, consider getting one of these for yourself too – I can’t recommend it enough.
These necklaces that I’ve listed here are all dupes for the larger Celine necklace – I didn’t see any lookalikes for the smaller necklaces when I went through Ebay earlier, but if I find dupes for them in the future, I will keep you posted. Another thing that I wanted to mention is that to my knowledge, the original Celine necklaces are available only in gold, but all of these necklaces are also available in silver.
If you don’t mind the fact that the original necklace isn’t available in silver at the moment, you may want to consider ordering the platinum version!

P.S. If you enjoyed this article, I have a lot more articles on designer dupes – check them out if you’re looking to get the luxury look for less! Make sure to also check out my latest designer dupe finds here. If you have a particular item in mind, you can also simply search for that item in the search bar and you’ll be directed to a page with dupes for that item!
Once again, I can’t believe that these necklaces sell for so little! I’m really happy with the necklace that I bought (I got the UK version). As the actual designer version of this necklace isn’t too expensive either, I think that I will try to wear this necklace out for a couple of months and then see how much I like it then. If it ends up becoming a staple in my wardrobe, I wouldn’t mind getting the real deal either.
How about you – would you rather buy the original version at $300 or try one of these out first to see how much wear you’ll get out of the necklace? Also,do you think it’s going to be the next ‘Gucci belt’ or do you think it will be gone by next season? Let me know in the comments!
