This is something that I thought I would never say – ugly sneakers are in style, and I kind of want a pair. I’m not sure who is behind Balenciaga’s creative decisions, but these sneakers have managed to stir up quite the buzz much before they were originally launched.

So much so, in fact, that all other fashion houses are now copying the trend – Louis Vuitton has their, and even Chanel has come out with a lookalike pair! These sneakers are so popular, that they’ve sold out and there’s a waiting list – although I suspect that this is just a marketing gimmick to get people more interested.

Anyhow, I’ve managed to find really, really good Balenciaga dupes of these sneakers online, so if you wanted to hop on the trend, this is the write place!

Balenciaga is also famous for some other shoe designs – there’s the cool Balenciaga Speed trainer and of course, the Ceinture boots. All of these are adored by fashionistas and super models all over the world, even though they are slightly quirky. That’s where all the fun is!

So there you have it, Balenciaga dupes of the Triple S – ugly but cool, right? My favourites of these are the all white sneakers, mainly because that’s the only type of sneaker that I wear. What are your favourites?

Now, the Speed trainer is more my style. I wasn’t actually aware of this sneaker before writing this post, but I must say I’m a new fan. Out of these, I like the classic black & white version the best, as there’s a little contrast between the colors, and they look rather edgy and cool when you put them on.
